The Autumn Equinox is one of the most magical times of the year, giving us an opportunity to pause and reflect and ask what does a balanced life look like and feel like to you? This retreat gives you the space to do just that. Picture heart-centered, all-level yoga class, breath work and meditation, and a relaxed, all-are-welcome vibe.

About the retreat

The place

We’ll be meeting up at Beckoning Path, a beautiful private 27-acre retreat residence in Armonk, NY. The design of this Scandinavian-inspired mid-century modern space will take your breath away. We’ll practice in a light-filled great room overlooking a lake the Algonquins named “Cobamong” — meaning beautiful hidden place.

The vibe & the practices

The afternoon will give you a chance to get grounded, centered, and reset your nervous system for the season ahead. We’ll be doing slow flow and yin yoga, a reflexology walking meditation, , setting intentions, and yoga nidra. You’ll leave with a quiet mind, a joyful heart, and optimism for what’s next in your life.

The connection

While many of the afternoon’s practices will be focused on going inward, we’ll also have time to come together in community. You’ll get to linger over harvest small bites at the long table. Walk together on beautiful nature paths. Sip tea while arranging beautiful fall dahlias together.

The clarity

As an added bonus, a coaching session with Miranda is included in your retreat fee. You’ll get her insights on an area you’d like to explore:

The afternoon

  • We’ll set the tone for a grounded and peaceful afternoon together with a walking reflexology meditation

  • a special autumn inspired slow flow and yin yoga practice

  • linger after practice to enjoy small bites and sweet treats with the nicest people (it always works out that way!)

  • choose your favorite dahlias (often used on the Autumn Equinox to bring beauty and energy to celebrations) to take home and remember our afternoon together

About Miranda

I’m a certified yoga teacher (RYT 500- Registered Yoga Teacher 500 Hours), and I currently teach at Kaia Yoga in Greenwich, CT. My classes are fun, playful, creative and designed to bring each of us to connect with our presence. I especially love to teach beginners as they’re just starting to fall in love with yoga.

My “day job” as an executive and leadership coach and a passion for bringing our whole selves to work both influence my yoga teaching. My goal is to help you manage stress and find more ease in class, and then be able to apply these tools when you step out into the real world.
